We just have those things we don't want to do. Are there reasons for it... like credible reasons?? Okay now, some of you are rethinking that answer, lol. Read and let's find share our thoughts on this.

Hello there dearest readers, welcome back to my blog, always such a delight to have your eyes feasting on my works.
Today we are going to be answering a very crucial question, which is "Why you haven't done it". You know, washed your clothes, washed the dishes, cleaned the house, completed that assignment, written that piece, finished that book, taken that step. And yes, there is a story that led to this thought of a question (though short), but one nonetheless.
There was light practically the whole day in my place today, and that was a first, given these gruesome months of terrible NEPA situation in this country. It was not always like that in my place though, (but I guess times have always changed). I even kept checking every time, waiting for them to strike, but they didn’t… a shocker indeed. But where’s the story in all this?
Well, I have stated my light issue, which I blamed as the reason for my delay’s in writing and why I have been way behind my writing schedule for this year. Given that my laptop was a desktop (i.e it has a weak battery), it meant I needed light to operate. Coupled with my 9-5, coming back home to just type the days share is all that’s on my mind, but still no light (those words has now become a casual statement, daily occurrence). And today that there was light, I did nothing. I still didn’t meet the target. Not the first time it was happening, not the second and may not be the last, except I do something.
So, I started with why, and the answer is procrastination, laziness, a better word. You see, we think it’s someone who sits at home all day and has not plans for his life or takes everything lightly, putting no effort into stuff that is lazy… well no. Lazy is everyone who brushes off what they are supposed to do at a particular point in time, because they don’t have the vibe for it or are just too lazy to do it. Everyone has a lazy streak, some more than others. But what makes the difference is that you overcome it most of the time.
Why haven’t you done it? Plainly, it’s because you are lazy, but heck, we all have our moments, having one right now. But we can fix that, how? Early diagnosis. Knowing that you are just being lazy and not busy or uninspired. Secondly, actively work on, try the “no sleep till work is done method”, it could be tiring, but it works (until you are very beat from stretching yourself, then you go get that rest ASAP, work can wait). And lastly, no excuses. No fake, flimsy excuses that you know you could have worked around and overcome and get the job done.
With that, I hope you get back to that book, that piece, that job, that reading (oh yes, the tiresome one that comes during exams, urgh!), and every other project that you have dropped. Not because they were to tiring, but you were too lazy to do it.
